A major part of creating healthy habits that last is being able to identify what's not serving your health goals. There have been SO many times in my life where I truly thought I was eating healthy only to realize later on that I was causing inflammation and depriving myself of essential nutrients.

Today I am doing my best to answer the question - what makes food unhealthy? - in a concise and clarifying way.

As we head into the holidays and approach the January dieting craze, I hope this episode provides insight into what to avoid, what to look for, and how you can begin to prepare healthy, nourishing food for yourself and your family.
