I found myself 20lbs heavier, struggling to keep my eyes open in the afternoons, with a face full of acne. I was confused as to how I ended up there, being that I worked out and felt like I ate fairly healthy. It seemed like no matter what I tried, I couldn’t create the results I wanted in a way that I could see myself maintaining long term. It wasn’t until I discovered the unlimited motivation and FREEDOM that exists in living according to God’s VISION for my life and health that I began to see changes. Hey Friend,
Believe it or not, research has found that the top predictor of longevity and your propensity to chronic disease is the amount of skeletal muscle you have.
I am doing this episode, one because I think the info is SUPER important for creating sustainable life long health, but also because I’m trying to amp myself up to get more consistent with my muscle building workouts.
About a year ago I threw out my back to where I was in my bed for days and had to have friends come watch my boys. I’ll share more about how that’s progressed in the episode, but long story short, I’m in a place to finally start focusing on the kind of workouts I love - the kind that BUILD muscle.
If you’ve never considered intentionally trying to build muscle, I’d LOVE for you to listen in. And if you already know the benefits or you kind of know it's a good thing, but haven't actively started building muscle, by the end of this episode, you'll learn how greatly beneficial skeletal muscle is for your long term health AND you'll have a few SIMPLE first steps to get you going.

For a few episodes now, I've been referring back to episode 13 where I talk about Leviticus 11 and the old testament food laws. Well, here it is again with a few minor adjustments.
There's just something about taking a misunderstood, seemingly boring passage and revealing the insight and wisdom it holds. I think you'll be surprised how much you learn about food labels from Old testament law!
Contrary to popular belief, God's law isn't just a bunch of inapplicable rituals from way back when. They hold so much for us today, and I'm excited for you to hear it!
In case you're not as big of a Bible nerd as me, don't fret, I've got you too.
If you've ever wondered about eating organic or whether or not "all natural" means something is healthy, I'll be diving into all of that.
In short, I'm giving you the top things I look for when I'm reading food labels. I'll also let you know what I personally avoid along with what I prefer to see.
